Sorry, not sorry, there is about to be a party in your mouth. These delicious little "love nuggets" are a modern vegetarian spin on the wedding classic of the 80s and 90s, rumaki. Sweet dates are stuffed with salty cheese and slathered with smoked maple syrup for a perfect combination of smoke, salt and sweet. 

Ingredients

Dates

Blue, Gorgonzola or Feta Cheese (anything slightly salty will do)

Sugar Bob's Smoked Maple Syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 380

Cut the pit out of the date and stuff with cheese. 

Brush with smoked maple syrup

Place on parchment lined baking sheet

Bake for 5 minutes, remove, brush with more maple syrup, bake 5-10 more minutes.
