Our mission is anchored in the fundamental belief that food should be good for the environment, our health and local economies. Wanting more sustainable and delicious food options for my family, I decided to team up with passionate artisans and create a food revolution. Foodocracy is for people like me, folks who appreciate small batch food, want to support local farmers and are determined to create impactful social change through their food experiences.

Why We Are Different 

I spent decades in marketing and advertising for corporate America. Wanting more sustainable and delicious food options for my family, I left the corporate world in search of a more purpose filled life. At a Slow Food event I had an epiphany. I created could use my marketing experience to create a different kind of e-commerce…one with social good at its core. By promoting local products, Foodocracy supports the local farmers who supply them. I want to help promote a more independent food system: one that’s better for us, better for food workers and better for the planet. Thank you for being part of this delicious revolution.
