    We offer $11.99 flat rate shipping within the contiguous US per shipment.  If you are shipping to multiple addresses there will be multiple shipping charges. A rate of $25 applies to orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii up to 13 pounds. Orders to Alaska or Hawaii that are 14 pounds and over are $50 flat rate shipping. The majority of our products are shipped via USPS Ground. We can not ship to U.S. Territories or P.O.Box/APO/FPO/DPO addresses. If something is particularly heavy, bulky, comes in an especially cumbersome package, or is perishable an extra surcharge will be noted on the product page and at checkout.

    We typically ship within 2 business days of your order. We are a very small operation and during the holidays and high volume times it can take us up to 5 business days to pack up your order. Please don't plan a special dinner that depends on getting the ingredient. Although we strive to get you your order as quickly as possible we are very much at the mercy of the shipping Gods. 

    We don't have a way to print gift notes, however If you include a note at checkout this will be printed on the packing slip in the box. If this is a gift we recommend contacting the gift recipient and letting them know to be on the lookout for a package from Foodocracy. You will get a delivery confirmation in your email so that you can reach out after the package has been delivered.

    Contact us via email IMMEDIATELY at info@shopfoodocracy.com. Don't call us, email us for the fastest response. We will do our best to grab the package before it ships out. Unfortunately once a package has left our warehouse there is nothing we can do to re-route it and we can not refund packages that have been shipped to the address you provided. 

    We are seeing a large number of orders marked as delivered (particularly by USPS) before the carrier actually delivers the package. Please allow 4 days before contacting us, it typically shows up within that timeframe. If 4 days has passed and the package has not arrived contact us at info@shopfoodocracy.com and please include your order number.

    Once a package has been delivered to the address requested we do not have the ability to insure the package. There has been a large increase in "porch pirate" theft and all of the carriers have discontinued insurance of the package once delivered. Please make sure that your packages can be delivered to a secure location as we will not be able to replace the package if it goes missing once delivered by the carrier.

    If your order is returned to us as undeliverable, to the delivery address you have provided, we will not refund the original cost of shipping and you will be liable for any return charges imposed by the delivery agent and/or the cost to redeliver your order to you. Should you choose not to have your order redelivered at your own cost, we will refund your order minus shipping charges

    At Foodocracy, we take great care in packaging each order to ensure it arrives safely. However, we understand that mistakes can happen or items may be damaged during transit.
