This ridiculously easy appetizer will make you the host with the most in minutes! In the Basque region this is a traditional snack or tapas using Piment d'Espelette to bring smoke, sweet and a bit of heat to compliment creamy cheese and the zing of an olive.
Crackers
Petit Basque Cheese or any creamy mild cheese
Olives
Place a slice of cheese on each cracker
Melt the cheese under the broiler for a few minutes
Top with a slice of olive
Sprinkle with the Piment d'Ville flavor of your choice. We like it best with original or spicy.

We support small, family owned farms across the nation. Did you know that farmers only make an average of 10 cents on every dollar you spend at the supermarket? Working directly with farms and not middle men ensures that more money goes back to the people actually growning your food.
