The Heirloom Bean + Grain Club is a subscription box of seasonally curated heirloom beans and ancient grains from small family farms that put soil health first. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative practices however not all farms can afford the certification process. Most of the products in your box will be certified organic but there are some instances where that's not possible. We only work with small, family farms using clean, healthy farming practices with no GMOs, no Glyphosate or dangerous chemicals. These uncompromising farms are practicing sustainable agriculture and traditional farming.

Each shipment costs 30.95 plus 11.99 flat rate shipping. Pre-paid gift subscriptions are $128.82 for 3 months, 257.64 for 6 months and $515.28 for 12 months including shipping.

Pay as you go is billed with each box. Choose monthly, every 2 months or quarterly, and pause, skip or cancel anytime. The prepaid gift is paid once up front for 3, 6 or 12 monthly boxes, with shipping included, and we email your recipient about their gift on the date you choose.

• Order between the 20th and the 4th: it ships with our monthly shipment, between the 6th and the 10th.
• Order between the 5th and the 19th: it ships within 3–5 business days.

After the first box, boxes ship between the 6th and the 10th of each delivery month by USPS Ground.

Example: Order on November 23rd and the first box ships between December 6th and 10th.

Shipping is included with the prepaid gift. Pay-as-you-go boxes ship for a flat $11.99 in the continental US, so you can add extra items to your box with no additional shipping cost.

We ship anywhere in the Continental US plus Alaska and Hawaii. Prepaid gifts ship free to all 50 states. For pay-as-you-go boxes going to Hawaii or Alaska, the shipping rate is shown at checkout.

Yes! Club members, including gift recipients, can add anything from our shop to their next box anytime with no additional shipping. Just use your exclusive member code at checkout. You’ll find it on your club flier and in our club emails. Can’t find it? Email us at info@shopfoodocracy.com and we’ll send it to you.

No problem. Pay-as-you-go members can pause or skip a month in the member portal. For gifts, or if you need help, email us at info@shopfoodocracy.com with your order number and travel dates, and we’ll adjust the shipping date.

Pay-as-you-go subscriptions can be paused, skipped, changed or cancelled anytime in your member portal. No strings attached. Prepaid gifts are final and can’t be cancelled, but we’re happy to transfer one to a new recipient.

At checkout, you choose the date we email your recipient about their gift. Pick a date before their first box ships so they know to watch for a package. For example, order on November 23rd, their box ships December 6th–10th, so a December 1st notification gives them a heads-up.

We use it to tell them about their gift on the date you choose, to unlock their member access to club exclusives on our website, and to let them know before their gift ends. We won’t add them to our marketing emails unless they choose to sign up.

Yes! By providing their email when you sign them up, they'll be able to access all of the club exclusives and first dibs on limited editions.
