    About Sugat Bob's Smoked Maple Syrup

    This award winning maple syrup will quickly become your secret ingredient for many dishes, taking them from good to amazing! Bob starts with pure Vermont maple syrup and adds real wood smoke, nothing else...except love of course. We use this for smoked maple sweet potato puree, but it's also amazing drizzled on fried chicken or pork chops. Use just a dash of it in a spicy sauce and it will add new dimension. Add this to a cocktail instead of simple syrup and you'll have to set a 4 drink limit (hello bourbon our old friend).

    Makes 2 drinks


    1/4 cup bourbon

    3 tablespoons Smoked Maple Syrup

    2 peaches (peeled, pitted and sliced *see tip below)

    2 cups ice


    In the bottom of a blender swirl the maple syrup into the bourbon until combined. Add the peeled and sliced peaches and ice. Blend until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick add a bit of water.  

    TIP: To easily peel the peaches, cut an x in the bottom of each peach and blanch it in boiling water for 2 minutes, removing with a strainer into an ice bath. When cool, peel with your fingers starting with the x.
