The beans ars beautiful. I discovered cranberry beans years ago when I stopped at a roadside vegetable stand in the mountains of GA. They are one of my favorites. Im really glad I found Primary Beans. Great products, shipping is quick and I can't wait to try some of the other products in their shop.

Cranberry Beans for my heritage recipe

Cranberry beans are the specific bean for the only recipe I have from my father's family, so I become alarmed when I cannot find them. Imagine how thrilled I was when I found them at this site. Already cooked a batch of this soup & they were delicious. I also appreciate the female owned, welcoming messages & cooking tips I've received. Many thanks!!

No Pressure Cooker Necessary

I soaked the beans in cold water for a day, and then put them in a double boiler to cook all evening over a small flame on the stovetop. They cooked up just fine. A double boiler is much cheaper and easier to use than a pressure cooker!

Simply delicious and so satisfying.

I ordered the Cranberry beans and not only was cooking them up, satisfying, they were incredibly tasty. The second time around, I cooked a double batch, because I like to share with friends and they got gobbled up quickly. I’m looking forward to cooking up the Bayo beans soon, and will post a review on those once I do.

Freshest beans, just like when we grew them on the farm

My mother was complaining about the beans in her supermarket always being old. So I shopped online and found Primary Beans. I brought them to my mother and she was ecstatic. She said they were the best beans and she cooked some when I went to visit and I agree! They were as fresh as the ones we had on the farm when growing up. Thank you so much! I just ordered her a few pounds more! I will continue to get our beans from Primary Beans.
