    Rico!

The smoked Oaxacan mole sauce from Bunches and Bunches is superb! It's not quite like anything we ever tasted in Oaxaca, but it is as good as the best.

    Tasty!

I like this mole. But as a single person and an occasional meat eater, the size of the jar was too large and the expiration date was too short (one week from the opening of the jar). A smaller jar would have been better for me.
As suggested, I did freeze some of the sauce and just finished it a couple of days ago.

The expiration date on the product isn't for over a year, but yes, like any fresh product you should consume it within 7 days after opening. You can freeze it though in an airtight container and then it will last somewhat indefinitely although the consistency will not exactly the same. It may separate a bit when thawed, but cooking a bit stovetop should remedy that. We will experiment with this ourselves!
