This Ark of Taste pepper is sometimes called "the mother of all peppers" because food historians believe it could be the original pepper. Grown in the Sonoran Desert the tiny berries are big on flavor with a smoky bite rating a 9 out of 10 for heat. The wonderful husband and wife team at Chilttepica has combined them with salt to create a delicious addition to just about anything. We love them on our eggs in the morning, our Avo toast for lunch and sprinkled on our pasta at dinner time. It's so versatile we keep it on the table with the salt and pepper for anytime we want a little more heat. It's also amazing in a Bloody Mary!
Chiltepin has been by far the most tasty of all the Chile's! It does pack a lot of heat, but its still is tasty! It has a smoky flavor kind of like paprika or chilli but on steroids!
A little bit goes a long way too!😉
