Snow Cap Heirloom Beans

These distinctive heirloom beans have a lovely white "snow cap" surrounding a cappuccino colored bean about the size of a pinto bean. They are so pretty, it's one of the beans we find ourselves enjoying in the pantry ALMOST as much as in the pot.  They keep most of their distinctive pattern when cooked. They have a soft texture (and some say a flavor) reminiscent of grandma's mashed potatoes.
